When rescuers from Love Furry Friends Animal Rescue spotted a video of three pups playing in the middle of a busy road on social media, they acted immediately. They understood they needed to get them safe and secure as quickly as possible. Therefore, they gathered all the necessary information, and the following morning they headed to the location.
The location was an industrial area, and in addition to the puppies seen in the video, two adult dogs also lived in the area. According to the workers, the animals are there to protect the location. They care for them and then ensure that they never leave the facility.
While the workers were courteous enough to secure the older canines’ welfare, they revealed that the female dog had never been spayed. As a result, she became pregnant repeatedly and gave birth to unwanted offspring. Unfortunately, none of her puppies lasted that long due to illness or being struck by speeding cars.
The security officer immediately let the rescuers in and agreed to turn over the puppies to them. He stated that they do not need them. However, he stated that the mother dog needed to stay.
The rescuers said that all they wanted to do was treat the mother dog so no more puppies would be born. Additionally, they promised to return her after she had recovered. And while it took some time, they ultimately persuaded him to allow them to bring the mother dog along.
The mother dog and her three puppies received medical care to ensure their optimal health. The puppies then got a day of relaxing treatments before continuing to the shelter. Their mother underwent spay surgery and recuperated for a few days at the animal hospital.
Once the mother dog had recovered, the rescuers returned her to the workplace to keep their word. They wanted her to find a permanent home, but the workers’ assurances that she would be taken care of well gave them peace of mind.
Meanwhile, the rescuers shared the puppies’ photographs and stories on social media, and it didn’t take them really long for them to find their ideal homes. One puppy got her forever home a few days before her sisters, but they, too, finally found theirs.
