Ashleigh MacPherson from New Zealand is fortunate to be surrounded by lovely dogs who also happen to be photogenic.
Recently, two of her pets, a White Shepherd named Kaya and a Black Shepherd named Hades, became viral on Reddit for their lovely pretend wedding photos. If you haven’t seen those, you have to check them out.
However, this story is about another dog who recently joined that pack in 2020. The name is Kiko, a nine-month-old Finnish Spitz.
He has two other Finnish Spitz companions named Tofu and Mika. Together with Kaya and Hades, they form a wonderful canine family who loves to pose for Instagram. But Miko takes the spotlight today because he does his poses shockingly and excitingly.
Kiko has an extra flexible neck that can flip 180 degrees. When Ashleigh arranges the pack to pose for a group picture, he faces the opposite way, so his back faces the camera. Then he does his iconic head flip so his face can still be seen, albeit upside down!
Perhaps several people worry if the pose hurt him somehow, but Ashleigh assures them that Kiko is doing just fine. After all, specific in-born characteristics such as being extra flexible rarely hurt.
Seeing his owl-like poses will make you remember the famous possessed girl from The Exorcist, who could twist her head in a rather grotesque way. Ashleigh even capitalized on this a little bit by teaching him to flip his head when she says the word ‘demon’!
While Kiko’s pose is undoubtedly unnatural, his poses appear to be more funny than scary, so we doubt that he’ll ever star in a horror movie.
If you take away Kiko’s fame, he is just like any other dog. Ashleigh described Kiko as a vocal, laidback, cuddly, loving, and sweet dog.
But Kiko’s additional talent and funny antics indeed made him an excellent addition to the family, especially that he arrived during the lockdown. Because of him, she enjoyed her time, and according to her, it made 2020 pass by faster.
