Dogs, even if they are blind, will remain special. Their pureness and wholesomeness even when facing adversity will surely make you smile and even tear up.
When a woman named Mandy Leung brought the Siberian Husky called Mackenzie home, she could tell right away that the pup was different. But Mandy looked at it in a positive way. A month later, however, the dog went blind in the right eye because of glaucoma.
Despite that, Mackenzie continues living her life to the fullest. She keeps on learning about the world around her, and perhaps one of her most precious discoveries is the snow.
Getting to know Mackenzie
Among the many things that Mackenzie loves are her friends, warm cuddles with her fur mom, and long, pensive walks. According to Mandy, Mackenzie is very quiet when she’s at home. However, the dog switches to her mischievous and silly side whenever she is outdoors. Mandy adds that her dog is the friendliest pup, and she believes that Mackenzie has never met anyone she doesn’t like.
But Mackenzie’s most favorite thing in the world is snow. And it’s not very surprising, though, since huskies are hardwired to take comfort in cold environments. It seems Mackenzie patiently waits all year round for the winter season.
The moment the snow starts falling, the playful husky fails to contain her excitement. While she isn’t able to see the snow, she can still feel it with her feet, face, nose, and whiskers. And for her, it’s glorious. Just play the short clip below to see her marvelous reactions.

One commenter says that she loves how Mackenzie’s closed eyelids make her look as if she is permanently excited about a lot of things. Another netizen comments that she has watched the video over and over, and she has tears of joy because of it.
