Whatever species one is, we tend to look for a friend, someone we could truly get down with, no questions asked.
Finding one’s a little tricky, and this German Shepherd and Siberian Bear best friends can attest to that.
Tallulah’s a Siberian brown bear who just wants to have friends on the farm. She loves playing with toys, but she soon finds out that playing all by your lonesome isn’t the way to go.
She sets out to find friends, but she only seems to attract either slow turtles or kicking llamas.
Unknown to the bear, Kayden, a black German Shepherd, feels the same. He just couldn’t find one of his kind on this farm, and it’s starting to grate on him.
So when these two met each other, they saw their similarities right away. They knew they weren’t of the same kind, but it didn’t matter.
Soon, the pets were hanging out all the time. They both enjoyed romps around the farm, and the wide, open field became their haunt.
Kayden started to show Tallulah the stuff he wanted to do. The bear just watched him but did not engage.
It’s not much of a friendship when you couldn’t do what you love doing. So Kayden proceeds to show his friend the joys of playing with a stick.
Tallulah merely watched and then lunged at the German Shepherd. It became pretty evident to Kayden that his bear friend is interested in playing with him and him alone.
Tallulah showed Kayden that it doesn’t matter if there are toys or not. Presence and being in the moment is enough. The dog stares at his friend, conceding to her wisdom.
Tallulah then runs off, prompting Kayden to run and catch up with the athletic bear. She might not love water nor stick, but she’s one heck of a good friend.
