In November last year, Emilie Talermo alerted the local police and her neighbors that her dog was stolen. When the incident happened, Emilie left the pooch outside a grocery store in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights. She did not know that this would happen to her beloved pup, Jackson.
When she got a word about the incident, Emilie immediately rushed outside to check whether it was true. It became apparent to the woman that Jackson was indeed missing.
At first, Emilie was in denial and thought that the pooch was just around the corner. With this, she looked throughout the store and nearby vicinities. But her search did not yield good results. This was when she needed the local police’s help, so Emilie went to the police station.
Afterward, Emilie set up a website for her missing dog. Emilie said that she wanted to do everything in her power to find her beloved Jackson. She similarly also gave a high bounty of $7,000 to whoever could give her a lead for the missing dog.
During that time, Emilie was already desperate because she could not accept that her dog was missing. According to the woman, Jackson was so special to her that she would do everything to find her pup. But after several months of searching, Emilie still did not get any positive news.
At one point, Emilie lost hope that she would find the dog again. However, in July, members of the San Francisco Police Department contacted the woman. The officers told Emilie that the pooch had been found.
Emilie was puzzled because San Francisco is 600 kilometers away from their residence. This, though, is no longer important to her because she wanted to reunite with Jackson.
When the two saw each other again, Emilie was as happy as she could be, and she immediately hugged the dog. Jackson was happy to see her too!
