Rescuers Thoa, Thi, and Tra Bui are on a mission to help kittens who have been dealt an unfavorable hand. Their two huskies, Lilo and Infinity, join them and they all have assisted abandoned kittens to recover from their old lives and go on to enjoy great new ones. While the majority of kittens they rescue find new homes, one kitten discovered them and immediately felt right at home with them.
They first encountered her one evening, and she was quite small at approximately two weeks old at that time. She was starving, but unlike other starving kittens who would consume whatever food was given to them, she refused. It was difficult, but they did their best to observe her continuously. Sadly, this was all they could do for her as they waited for her to regain her appetite.
They named the kitten Rosie, and one of the huskies decided to intervene when she remained uninterested in feeding herself. As Rosie’s condition worsened over the night, Lilo’s curiosity transformed into concern. Lilo chose to introduce herself to Rosie as her mother, and she cared for Rosie.
As it turned out, Lilo’s maternal love was all that Rosie required to survive. Rosie started drinking milk after having Lilo by her side to mother her. Since Rosie became interested in feeding herself, Lilo has remained by her side.
Lilo became Rosie’s adoptive mother, and when they’re not together, they exhibit strange behavior. However, when they are together, Lilo is a sweet, compassionate, and extremely patient mother. They become bonded really well.
The only remaining option was to adopt Rosie and let Lilo raise her. Rosie’s new life is with Lilo, and she enjoys the same pastimes as her mother. She is unwilling to be left behind, so she will follow along on walks, swims, outings to the park, and even road trips.
Rosie became more independent as she aged, yet she still desires Lilo’s company. Lilo, on the other hand, continues to treat Rosie as her baby, as most parents do with their older children, and continues to dote on her.
Rosie is now a large, wide-eyed cat, but she will always be Lilo’s kitten.
