Lolita is a dog that really loves the sweet stuff, as do many other pets. She could not contain her enthusiasm every time her owner, Catharina Chagas, gives her tasty food, especially the sweet ones. She even takes matters into her own paws when she believes that she is not allowed to eat whatever has caught her fancy, as she has shown in this story.
Chagas’ birthday was approaching, so she decided to bake herself a cake. She then asked her pals who were unable to attend in person to celebrate with her through a Zoom video conference. Everything was proceeding according to plan, but she was unaware that her dog, Lolita, was planning something since she neglected to invite her to join in on the fun.
Lolita decided to get herself some of the cake when Chagas left for a moment to offer the doorman of her building a slice. She was constantly wondering why her mother failed to offer her a slice. Therefore, she decided to handle it herself while her fur mom was away.
Lolita was so fixated on the cake that as soon as she approached it, she began to devour it. Initially, she considered taking only a few nibbles. She became so engrossed in the food that she forgot that people on the video conference were watching her.
Orlando Colavolpe Neto, a friend of Chagas, could not help but giggle at the sight of the sly dog. He was powerless to prevent Lolita from devouring the cake. And when she dragged it to the floor, Neto and the rest of Chagas’s buddies on the video conference could only watch in awe. They were all stunned.
Chagas’s friends were attempting to stop Lolita from eating the rest of the cake, but Lolita appeared to be quite lost in her own world. The fur mom was also confused as to why the cake was on the floor when she returned. As her friends showed her the footage of her dog stealing the cake, she could only laugh with them.
It was a truly memorable birthday party. She learned a crucial lesson from this, which is to never forget about Lolita’s sweet tooth, even though she couldn’t find herself upset with her dog.
