It makes no difference what size the toy is. What matters to Luna is that she is playing with toys that resemble hedgehogs. She is unconcerned about whether the toy hedgehog is old or new, or if it is big. She adores each and every single one of them.
Luna’s fur-parent, Alexa Ferguson, is perplexed as to why her dog is so fond of hedgehogs. She also said that Luna now owns a total of ten hedgehog toys, and her dog simply loves with them all.
Alexa doesn’t mind if she continues to give Luna these hedgehog toys. Luna had been a stray before they met. She was out and about in the streets of San Bernardino, California. It was fortunate that an animal control officer saw her and saved her.
Nobody came to claim the dog or even adopt her after she was taken in by a shelter. Because the shelter was full, Luna was about to be put to sleep through euthanasia.
Luna, on the other hand, was fortunate that a Canadian rescue organization, RainCost Dog Rescue Society, accepted Luna and placed her in a foster home. Luna became a foster dog in Alexa’s house, and Alexa loved her and eventually adopted her. Alexa had been looking for a puppy at that time, and it was pure luck that she found one.
Alexa stated that she was really surprised by the things that Luna did. She noted that Luna appeared to be terrified of everything and that the dog had very fragile paws that bled even it went out for a short stroll.
Alexa came up with the idea of giving Luna a present — a toy that she could play with and would also serve as her buddy. The dog owner stated that it seemed like Luna had never had any toys before, so it was only fitting that she receive one now.
Luna became obsessed with the hedgehog toy that Alexa gave her, possibly because it was her first time receiving a toy. After that, Luna was uninterested in any other toy Alexa gave her, except when they were in the shape of hedgehogs.
