Jjangu, a Korean Jindo Corgi mix, wandered the streets of her neighborhood for a few months. Eventually, she walked into a random couple’s yard and made herself at home. She took a nap inside and then left before it was dark.
The dog continued to roam around the neighborhood, but she made some changes in her routine. The couple’s yard was no longer just a place for her to rest. It has become her new home. Even when the gates were locked, she found a way to get in.
It was pretty easy for Jjangu to sneak into the yard. She also didn’t have any problems making friends with Baekgu, one of the resident dogs. But when it came to Kkang, Baekgu’s sister, Jjangu surely had trouble.
Kkang was less cool than her brother Baekgu. She wanted the entire yard all for herself and she didn’t like it when Jjangu started showing up. To her, the newcomer was a threat so she had to protect her territory.
The couple didn’t mind having a homeless dog come into their yard. After all, Jjangu never caused any mess or trouble. They let her play with their dogs and even offered her some food when they see her arrive. There was one thing, however, that caused them absolute confusion.
Most of the days, Jjangu’s face was all white and clean. But other times, she showed up with a pair of eyebrows. Peculiar as it was, she looked more adorable with it. But who on earth would draw eyebrows on a homeless dog?
As it turned out, Jjangu wasn’t homeless at all. She lived with a man who let her roam the streets all day long. He didn’t care where she went, what she did, or if she even had something to eat. But he drew her eyebrows because it was cute on her.
The dog deserved better, the couple agreed. They offered to adopt her and they were glad her owner let her go.
Jjangu got along great with everyone, except with Kang. But with her charm, she eventually stole her new sister’s heart.
